In the food processing industry, the daily cleaning of automation equipment and process equipment is extremely important to ensure food safety. Therefore, the human machine interface (HMI) for food production facilities must be able to withstand high-pressure and high-temperature washing and be cleaned with acidic cleaners to facilitate daily scrubbing and water washing. A suitable HMI solution for food production facilities should have:

InnoAioT's WPC-C156WDC is completely waterproof with IP69K/IP66 level of protection and adopts full-grade 316 stainless steel enclosure for a higher level of resistance to corrosion. Besides, this ruggedized panel computer adopts a rounded corner design and a seamless flat front bezel, creating a sleek design that does not sacrifice durability.

The WPC-C156WDC adopts a 15.6-inch FHD TFT flat bezel LCD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 450 nits of brightness. It features an optical bonding projected capacitive (PCAP) touchscreen with a surface hardness of ≥7H, offering multi-touch support even in high-humidity or gloved environments. In addition, it offers IP66-rated M12-type I/O connectors and a wide range power input of 9V to 36V DC with over-voltage, over-current, and reverse polarity protection. It is capable of operating under wide temperature settings from -20°C to +70°C and withstanding vibration up to 1.5Grms.

The WPC-C156WDC is powered by the Intel® Celeron® J6412 quad-core processor (Elkhart Lake) with low power consumption (TDP 10W). The high-reliability touch panel PC supports up to 32GB of DDR4L memory and offers M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD options for fast storage. For flexible communication, it offers optional Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G or 5G connectivity through multiple M.2 expansion slots. Moreover, it supports VESA mount and is compatible with Windows 10/11, Linux, and Ubuntu operating systems.
